Oh really? Yeah, I don't know all the ins and outs of things, like what goes into Animation really. Like I am guessing these days they draw on a program and then put it in somehow, but, yeah, some of your drawings/paintings I really like. Not sure which ones are drawings and which ones are painting, I guess I don't have the eye for it
There's a basic pipeline and most studios follow. 2D animation isn't so popular nowadays since 3D took off since Pixar debuted. Which is a shame. 2D still lives in Japan! lol. Personally I really dislike Flash aniamtion (cutout puppets). I guess it works for kids shows...
Most american animation is 3d or puppets currently. Anime from Japan is typically 2d with some 3d objects or particles/effects. Ahh the old school anime was great. From the 80's and 90's. Those were so amazing... when they really did it as an art form. Avatar was animated by a Korean studio but the creators are american from Nickelodeon. They did do a good job. It's a good business model to follow.
Yeah. I love the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender. They did a great story, great concepts, awesome character design, and it flows well and is genius I believe. I want to aspire to something like that one day.
Legend of Korra is beautifully animated too.
Maybe I can help out on your team someday. But, you seem like you have things really together though.
Tips? There isn't really any secret trick I guess... it's all practicing and learning. Taking some classes helps of course since there's always something new to learn. The only problem with that is if you don't use it, you lose it lol.
hahaa it's human nature to be lazy!! Just look at allthe machines that do work for us xD. Cars... dishwashers... laundry washing machines... lolol. i work like crazy so I don't end up thinking about depressing stuff.. when I'm busy I don't have time to think u.u I'm sure everyone has different reasons for doing things.
